Youth Examination Launched in Al-Faw Locality Under the Supervision of the Ministry of Education and African Vision for Development Organization

On Wednesday, 19th Ramadan 1446 AH, corresponding to 19th March 2025, the youth examinations commenced in Al-Faw Locality as per the joint program between the African Vision for Development Organization and the Ministry of Education and Guidance in Gedarif State, specifically through the Adult Education and Literacy Department. These exams target the localities of Gedarif Municipality, Rifi Central Gedarif, and Al-Faw as part of efforts to enhance educational opportunities for young people in the region.

Field Visits to Examination Centers

Ms. Ikhlas Qasem Allah Al-Bashir, the Director of Adult Education and Literacy, visited the examination centers to monitor the progress of the exams. She visited the Al-Faw Eastern Primary School for Boys, where she was welcomed by the school director, Mr. Osama Al-Radi Jad Al-Mawla, the center’s head, and Mr. Mohamed Ali Abdul Fadil, the chief supervisor, along with the other supervising staff.

The school administration confirmed that everything was proceeding smoothly, and a breakfast was provided to the students, organized by the center’s teachers, to ensure the students’ full participation in the exam sessions.

Examination Details

  • First Session: Mathematics for 1.5 hours, starting at 9:00 AM and ending at 10:30 AM.
  • Second Session: English Language for 1.5 hours, starting at 11:00 AM and ending at 12:30 PM.

Continued Visits to Other Centers

Ms. Ikhlas Al-Bashir continued her inspection, visiting the Al-Rasswan Girls Center, where she was received by the school director, Ms. Feroz Abdel Wahab Hassan, who confirmed that the students performed well during the first session, showing enthusiasm and vitality. The school administration is expecting positive results.

She also visited the Al-Rasswan Youth Center in Al-Huda Neighborhood, where coordination was made with the African Vision for Development Organization to address some logistical issues, ensuring the exams continued smoothly. The school director, Mr. Gomaa Al-Awad, confirmed that considerable efforts had been made with the students and that their performance was good.

Continuous Monitoring to Ensure the Success of the Exams

The Al-Faw Locality has 20 examination centers, and the Director General of Education has instructed the relevant departments and sector supervisors to ensure continuous monitoring to ensure that the exams are conducted smoothly, as per the established plan.
