Launch of the Alternative Learning Program (ALP) Book Delivery – African Vision for Development Organization, Gedaref Office
On Sunday, November 9, 2025, a total of 10,500 copies of the Alternative Learning Program (ALP) book were officially received by the African Vision for Development Organization – Gedaref Office, as part of the education project funded by UNICEF and implemented by African Vision for Development.
The books were printed at the Ministry of Education and Guidance Printing Press in Gedaref State, under the supervision of the Adult Education Directorate and the Ministry of Education and Guidance. The launch ceremony was attended by several educational and administrative leaders from the state.
Among the attendees were:
- Dr. Abdelbagi Idris, Director of the African Vision for Development Organization – Gedaref Office.
- Mr. Mahdi Abkar Mahdi, Education Project Officer.
- Mr. Mohamed Mubarak, Supply Officer at the organization.
- Mr. Malik Al-Khidir, Director of Adult Education in Gedaref State and representative of the Director General of the Ministry of Education and Guidance.
- Mr. Abdelrahman Adam, Director of the Students’ Support Fund and representative of the Gedaref Printing Press.
The participants commended this achievement, describing it as a model of effective cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Guidance and its printing press, especially under the current challenging circumstances.
At the conclusion of the event, attendees expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the African Vision for Development Organization for its trust and continuous efforts in supporting education in Gedaref State, wishing the organization further success and progress in its ongoing educational initiatives.
