As part of its commitment to strengthening the quality and responsiveness of health services, the African Vision for Development Organization (AVDO) conducted a field monitoring visit to Mertal Health Center in Tawila, with the participation of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Monitoring and Evaluation Team.
The visit focused on reviewing service delivery, observing the performance of healthcare providers, and identifying key challenges and operational needs affecting the continuity and quality of services.
The team also engaged with health workers and listened to their feedback and priorities. Beneficiary feedback and perspectives were also recognized as an important component of improving service quality and ensuring that services remain responsive to community needs.
Field monitoring and meaningful engagement with both service providers and beneficiaries are essential to identifying gaps, strengthening accountability, and informing practical actions to improve health service delivery.
AVDO appreciates the efforts of the health workers at Mertal Health Center and remains committed to strengthening coordination with partners and relevant stakeholders to support the health sector and contribute to more accessible, quality, and responsive health services.
