Summary: Education Support Initiative at Tria Donki Camp
In collaboration with UNICEF, the African Vision for Development Organization – Gedaref Office launched an educational support initiative at Tria Donki Camp to encourage learning among displaced children. The team distributed school bags, booklets, pens, and essential stationery to a targeted group of students. This intervention aimed to enhance the learning environment and support children’s right to education amid difficult conditions.
The distribution was carried out transparently by the African Vision field team, with direct supervision from UNICEF’s Director of Education, Mr. Hashim, who praised the joint efforts. This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4, promoting inclusive, quality education.
Parents and teachers expressed gratitude for the support, which brought hope and joy to the children. The program reflects a broader commitment to building resilient communities through education-focused responses in crisis-affected areas.
