NRC and African Vision for Development Strengthen Humanitarian Partnership in Gedaref

At 9:00 a.m. on January 22, 2026, the Partnership Manager and at the Norwegian Refugee Council, visited African Vision for Development office in Gedaref State, accompanied by a representative of the Humanitarian Aid Commission in Gedaref State. They were received by Mr. Ibrahim Abdullah, the organization’s Program Manager, and other staff members. The two parties held a meeting where Natasha gave a brief presentation on the Norwegian Refugee Council’s plans, strategies, and objectives for the year 2026. A detailed report on partnerships with national organizations was presented as well. The African Vision for Development Organization has been a partner of the Norwegian Refugee Council since 2023. Natasha also listened to a detailed report from Mr. Ibrahim, Program Manager, on the objectives of the African Vision for Development Organization’s activities and projects implemented in partnership between the two organizations, touching on achievements, challenges, and lessons learned from the partnership experience.
He also spoke about the plans and objectives of the African Vision for Development Organization and the organization’s readiness for further partnerships in areas of mutual interest to meet the urgent needs of beneficiaries in Gedaref State and the rest of Sudan.
