As part of efforts to support the educational environment, Umm Shajirat area in West Galabat Locality witnessed today, Wednesday, April 16, 2025, the official handover of 25 toilets and a fully equipped water station to Umm Shajirat School.
The handover took place in the presence of representatives from UNICEF, Tawaki Organization for Development, and the African Vision Organization for Development, alongside the school administration, educational council, and local community members.
The toilets were constructed by Tawaki Organization, while the school was built by the African Vision Organization in partnership with UNICEF. This initiative comes in response to the school’s challenging conditions and aims to create a healthier and more supportive environment for the educational process.
This project stands as a strong example of collaboration between international organizations and local communities to strengthen educational infrastructure in rural areas.
