Distribution of Water Tanks, Washbasins, and School Supplies in Gedaref State: “The Safe Space for Education in Emergencies”

As part of ongoing efforts to enhance the educational environment and ensure the safety of students in Gedaref State, a project for the distribution of water tanks, washbasins, and essential supplies to schools was carried out under the initiative “The Safe Space for Education in Emergencies.” This initiative was implemented by the African Vision for Development Organization, funded by UNICEF, and supervised by the Ministry of Education and Guidance in Gedaref State.

Objective of the Project:

The project aims to provide a safe and healthy educational environment for students in emergency situations, with a focus on ensuring the availability of basic facilities that contribute to students’ comfort and health. The provision of water tanks ensures access to clean water, and washbasins help maintain personal hygiene and prevent the spread of diseases.

Schools Benefiting from the Project:

This initiative benefited several schools in Gedaref State, where essential supplies were distributed to a number of primary schools in various regions, including:
