“Completion of Preschool Curriculum Training for Teachers Supported by UNICEF”

The African Vision Organization concluded today at the Training and Capacity Building Center a training course for 57 female teachers in the preschool curriculum from the localities of Western Galabat, Central Gadaref, Al-Faw, and Gadaref Municipality. The course was funded by UNICEF and supervised by the Ministry of Education and Guidance. The aim of the course was to enhance the teachers’ capabilities in planning and implementing the kindergarten curriculum. The course was facilitated and conducted by the ministry’s trainers, Aisha Osman Jumaa and Tamader Al-Zaki Mohammed Awad Al-Kareem.

The course was overseen by the following individuals: Professor Ilm Al-Din Yahya Farah, who prepared the classrooms, and from the organizations, Mr. Hashem Karbous from UNICEF in Gadaref State, Dr. Abd al-Baqi Idris, Director of the African Vision Organization for Development, Mr. Mohammed Adam Mohammed Abdullah, Director of Primary Education in the state, Mr. Abdel Aziz Al-Rashid, Director of the Primary Stage, and Professors Taj Al-Sir Al-Amin and Abdul Faraj Zakaria from the Core Unit. Project Officer Mahdi Abkar was also involved, along with coordination by Ms. Tawadua Kamal Amara from the Preschool Education Department.

During the speeches, the professors encouraged the teachers to apply the curriculum they learned for kindergartens in various localities.
