“Establishing Mobile Child Safe Spaces to Provide Psychosocial Support for Conflict-Affected Children”

This activity provided psychosocial support for children affected by conflict by establishing 2 mobile Child Safe Spaces (CSS) with provision of furniture (chairs, plastic maps, water containers), and recreational materials (footballs, volleyballs, drawing materials, toys, and swaying). The CSS are run by AVDO staff with support from the CBPNs and supervisors from the community who are selected by AVDO in coordination with IDPs leaders and the CBPNs. Three supervisors are selected in each CSS they are responsible of management of CSS, management of the CSS recreational materials and furniture, responsible of safekeeping of these materials, taking them to the CSS three days every weeks and collecting them in the end of the day. AVDO paid incentives for three months for the community supervisors and handed over the CSS activities to the CBPN and the IDPs leaders to continue activities after the end of the project.
