Training Course for Developing the Skills of School Principals and Educational Councils in Gedarif State

Today, at the Training and Capacity Building Center in Gedarif, the training course organized by the African Vision for Development Organization in Gedarif State began for 56 school principals and educational councils from the localities of Fao (40 participants) and Al-Gabalat Al-Gharbia (16 participants), funded by UNICEF in Gedarif.

Mr. Alam al-Din Yahya Farah, Director of the General Administration for Training and Capacity Building at the Ministry of Education, welcomed the trainees at the opening of the course. He emphasized the important role of training in building generations through teachers and councils, as well as the opportunities for training provided by the ministry.

In the same context, Mr. Abdul Aziz Al-Rashid, Director of Primary Education at the Ministry of Education and supervisor of the course, addressed the trainees, urging them to make the most of the training opportunities aimed at developing and enhancing the quality of the educational process.

Dr. Adel Abdullah delivered a lecture titled “School Development Plan,” followed by a second lecture by Mr. Amin Mohammed Ibrahim on the “School Grant.” The training was also attended by Mahdi Abkar Mahdi, the Project Officer from the African Vision for Development Organization.

The course will continue for three days in Gedarif city.
