“Training Workshop in Gedaref to Strengthen Educational Councils and Develop School Plans”

Mr. Hisham Karbos, UNICEF Education Officer in Gedaref, addressed participants this morning at the Training and Capacity Building Center during a session organized by the African Vision for Development Organization in Gedaref State. The event was attended by Project Officer Mahdi Abkar Mahdi.

The participants, consisting of 58 members from educational councils, teachers, and educators from Gedaref Municipality and Rural Central Gedaref localities, were briefed on the school grants. Mr. Karbos emphasized that the organization is ready to distribute these grants to the teachers.

The session featured two lectures:

1. “Formation of Educational Councils” by Dr. Adel Abdullah Idris.
2. “School Development Plans and School Grants” by Mr. Amin Mohammed Ibrahim.

The training aims to empower educational councils and improve school development strategies while addressing the distribution of school grants.
